Yes with the purchase of food
Yes. It is near the ship port.
I can get a better price for frozen crab legs on opposite side of country.
Delicious food, friendly staff. Grab yourself a six pack of beer from the nearby liquor store to accompany your meal. Seating is all outside on the deck, some under cover. If the weather is bad they do have an arrangement with the bar next door, you can take your food to eat in there as long as you clean up after yourself and (I'm assuming) order a drink.
My husband and I were in the area for the summer and thought we’d stop by this place to see what all the hype was about. Wow! The service was amazing, the food was so fresh and delicious, and beyond that, the environment was more than welcoming. An overall incredible experience coming here. We will definitely be stopping here again when we come up to visit next summer.
average food, overpriced, asks for tip with no table service
Best King Crab I’ve ever had hands down! Friendly customer service and the freshness of the food is second to none. Definitely a place to remember you won’t be disappointed
Great food. Affordable yet tasty King crab on the covered patio while it rained was nice. Staff was awesome.
Had lunch there. The Alaska king crab legs were delicious. You place your order at the counter and pick up when it is ready. We ate outside on the deck which was very nice. There is no inside dining. The staff was friendly and again the crab legs were very good - very good.
Over rated and over priced fast food. Not recommended.
Four small pieces of halibut for $18. Avoid it
Beer please. Good food.
Awesome food, fun atmosphere and some hard-working staff...loved it!
This place is pretty good, but they only give you 4 small pieces of fish with an order. The bisque could have used more crab as well. But, the flavors and service were both great! Dine in on outside tables only.
Good food, on the coast, a little touristy, but that is expected. Worth the visit
The best crab I have found so far in Alaska. They are amazing crab legs, you have to try this place.
Crab is really good! Probably the best crab I have ever eaten in my life. Would recommend this place if you’re coming Stagway Alaska!
Although the fish and chips are a bit pricey (this seems to be the norm in Alaska), the halibut was delicious and flavorful. Would recommend finding this gem tucked away in this tourist town!
The fish and chips and coke-slaw are off the chain! The last time I felt this at home was back in 2008 at my woadie’s grandmas house fixing a chair and scratching lotto tickets. If you’re looking for authentic fresh food, a great atmosphere, and some good friends then Woadie’s is the place to be.
Great little food truck atmosphere. Generous portion on the fish and chips, great breeding and they know how to work the fryer. Recommend for a great lunch!
I wish this place was back home. Delicious. Superbly prepared. Had the halibut fish and chips. I'll say I've never, not one time in my entire life, ever had fish and fries this good. I expected to pay a little more than I would for Ivar's...and it was. But so well worth it I almost went for seconds. The fish was the star. Golden brown. Deliciously breaded. The fries were spectacular. No other word is sufficient. These were both done the way they should be. If we weren't leaving I'd be a regular.
Local hangout. Great food.
Yum! Fresh and big crab legs. Fish & chips or dungey crab bisque are all available.
Fish was over cooked and tasted old.
Skip the tourist traps and eat here. Local tasty eats. Fresh seafood in cozy outdoor area. By far the best food experience we had in Alaska. Friendly and fast service. Highly recommend!
Kyle (the Owner) was nice and food was amazing. I think this place was about to close down when i walked up, but Kyle took my order and brought it out quickly. Food (only had 1 king crab leg as i was short on time) was cooked to perfection. Kyle takes great pride in his work and it shows. I would definitely recommend visiting Woadie's while you are in Skagway!
Friendly. Taste fine. Not as large. Decent price.
Not worth the money. Had Salmon and Halibut, both were frozen. Fried to long, dry. Had dinner a few days earlier at the Skagway fish company down by the port. Way better for the same money.
Fish and crab legs were great and fairly priced. Service was also very friendly and we appreciated the honest recommendations. Only issue was w/ the oysters which felt a bit (creamy?) and were huge. Those might be better off for frying than eating raw... Everything else was excellent.
Best ever!Kyle and crew rocked! The real deal!!!!
Good food, quick service.
The King Crab was by far the best food I ate in Alaska. The Fish and Chips were delicious as well. 10/10 will return.
Great place! Fast and friendly service. Worth it everytime I go there. By far one of my favorite places in town, will be going all summer. Was told by a friend to order the bisque to dip my fries in and I was not let down. For sure check this place out!
Recommended by some local folks for lunch. Limited menu but on point for the area - specifically lunch. King Crab by the leg or by pound. Served simply and priced fairly (not cheaply).Counter service. Large patio and small indoor seating area.
Quick service, nice staff but wish they would give a bit more fish in the fish and chips.
Good...fresh....king crab.
Great fish and chips! Perfect crunch and tasty batter! Would definitely come back
I can’t add a phot because we ate it too fast. We had the halibut and salmon, both were great. The outdoor seating was nice.
Food was phenomenal, halibut was the best I’ve had.
Their fried salmon sandwich was great! Rockfish wasn’t to my liking but it was cooked well. The coleslaw was yummy and the fries. Also got the king crab. Decent but not a big portion. This is a good option in Skagway tho. Other places are overpriced and just not good.
Whenever anyone is looking for local seafood, I always recommend Woadies! Great food and run by a nice local guy!
A local restaurant in Skagway that you must try! Their fish and fries are delicious. They have the better price than other restaurants in town and Skagway Fish Co. ( tourist place).
Great seafood. Was a bit slow but they warned us before we ordered. Highly recommend
Wonderful, friendly atmosphere. The food was by far the best seafood I've had in a long time. And im born and raised southeast! The staff was a pleasure to chat with. I cant wait to go back :)
Two words: fried salmon. Delicious.
Super tasty, fast service, fun casual outdoor seating.
Really nice out of the way place. Great king crab legs and halibut.
Great fish and chips. Extremely friendly staff and the patio was perfect. The music was not to loud and the airflow was great
Best halibut and king crab legs I've had! Rich, Lucy and Duncan work like crazy people to put out great quality consitant food! Will come back again!
Absolutely adored it. Everything was top notch and since we had a beautiful day, the outside seating was the way to go. King crab was awesome, as were the fish and chips. What a great find.
First time eating King Crab, we ordered a single leg and ended up ordering a whole pound. Prices were fair, service was prompt and the employees were all very friendly. We stopped here during our shore excursion on an Alaskan cruise. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bite in Skagway!
Great food, great staff, great atmosphere! Definitely worth checking it out when you’re lucky enough to be in this beautiful little town.
